An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter’s scale jolted several of the major cities of Pakistan late Friday night. The quake was felt in Lahore, Gujranwala, Islamabad, Faisalabad and other major cities. According to early reports, there has been no loss of life or property. However, the government is quickly trying to reach the rural areas to learn the situation.
The earthquake struck around 2:40 am (local time) created terror among the people who were preparing for the Sehri. A similar earthquake in 2005 killed around 90,000 people in Pakistan.
I just hope that everyone is safe and sound. People stay blessed.
