Iftikhar Muhammed Chaundhry, the chief justice of Pakistan (CJP), took suomotu action against Abbas town blasts that killed 50 people

Sindh Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari who is the inspector general together with the advocate general were both issued with a letter from the chief justice asking them to submit a report that comprehensively give details on the attack that happened on Sunday 6th March and killed 50 people. Scores also suffered fatal injuries in the explosion of the blast. Thorough investigations are already in progress as they are conducted by various investigation and security bodies in Islamabad.

Earlier reports that were released by Leghari indicated that the effect of the blast were so immense to the extent that it covered a radius of over 700 meters.

Leghari also in his report said that it was very unfortunate that out of the explosion, over 200 flats were affected. In addition to this, there were properties that worth millions, which got destroyed in the occurrence event of the fatal bomb blast.

For further probing into the investigations of this tremendous incidence, Sindh governor Ishratul formed a team which would provide further reports of the case of explosion. The team would be headed by IG Fayyaz Laghari. As per Leghari, one suspect was already arrested regarding to the explosion, and he has detained having a connection with the blast that caused mass destruction. The suspect is assisting the police with the investigations. There are reports that have shown the terror attack has continued to receive a considerable rise in Pakistan, and is still the major threat to the citizens.

The security agents were urged to increase safety measures so that they achieve success in their chances of offering the best security to the citizens. Citizens have expressed their sadness, and they would like the government to take actions so that such incidences of terror attacks would be eliminated completely.

The detained man is to be arraigned in the court to answer charges. Reports from reliable sources have indicated that he would be charged with murder. This case is expected to be held in the Supreme Court that is located in Karachi the capital city of Pakistan. If the prosecutor side finds the man guilty, he is most likely to suffer very stringent punishment from the law since it is a serious offence to shed the blood of innocent people.
