The beginning of Omar Ebn Al Khattab’s death story came when he ordered to move non Muslim servants, “who are not teenagers” out of Al Madina, and to keep Al Madina only for Muslims. Some of the people of Al Madina did not like this decision, but they had to obey the decisions of the Caliph. Al Mughera Ebn Shuaaba (one of the greatest companions) did not agree with Omar on this decision, and he had a Majusi servant who was a very talented blacksmith and carpenter, so he asked the Caliph for an exception to keep that man in Al Madina, and Omar agreed for the sake of Al Mughera.
This man named Fyrouz, while his nick name was Abu Lualuaa Al Majusi, and he was very talented in his work, so Al Mughira allowed Abu Lualuaa to work for other Muslims who need his services. Al Mughira told his servant to pay him one hundred Derhams monthly for letting him work for others, but Abu Lualuaa didn’t like this and went to complain to Omar Ebn Al Khattab.
This was the first meeting between Sayedna Omar and the Majusi man; and when the servant complained from paying one hundred Derhams to Al Mughira every month, Omar ordered him to obey Al Mughira and pay him what he ordered. On the other hand, Omar Ebn Al Khattab went to Al Mughira to ask him to reduce the one hundred Derhams he ordered, so Al Mughira agreed and obeyed what the Caliph said.
Abu Lualuaa did not know what Omar Ebn Al Khattab did for him, so he walked in the streets saying “Omar is fair with all the people except me, although Muslims always say he is the fairest man on earth”.
One day Abu Lualuaa was setting with three men two of them are Majusi, while the third man was Jewish and the four men were planning to kill Omar Ebn Al Khattab
Abdulrahman Ebn Abu Bakr “one of the Sahaba” saw the four men talking in a suspicious way, so he went closer to them till they were shocked to see him standing in front of the group, so they wanted to leave the place quickly, but they dropped a dagger that is sharpened from two sides, and one of them picked the dagger to hide it quickly. Abdulrahman Ebn Abu Bakr didn’t notice that dagger and he didn’t tell anyone about the suspicious four men till it became too late.
