Ramadan’s Blessings-Blessings of Holy Month of RAMADAN

Ramadan’s Blessings-Blessings of Holy Month of RAMADAN

The Ramadan’s blessings come once in a year, each year commencing according to the phasing of the moon in the Islamic calendar. This blessed month brings with it a real sense of righteousness and goodwill that each Muslim experiences, thirty days of fasting and a general attitude of giving as well receiving really makes this sacred month something that Muslims look forward to in the year. The following translation of Holy Ayah tells us clearly about the great Ramadan’s Blessings.

“Ramadan is the (month) in which the Quran was sent down, as a guide to mankind and a clear guidance and judgment (so that mankind will distinguish from right and wrong).” (Q 2:183)

Ramadan’s Blessings in the true essence of the word, it is a month of worship; many take this month as a time to get closer to the Almighty by many different ways. Some people resort to focusing more on their society, making sure that their fellow Muslims are not burdened by much in this Holy Month. Neighbors and even strangers perform acts of kindness in this Holy Month.

It is a duty of a Muslim in this month is to make sure that everyone in his surroundings is supplied with adequate amount of food and comfort so that their days of fasting can go by smoothly. You can see if visited a Muslim community the acts of kindness are commonly observed in this month of blessings and maybe that is the reason why this sacred month is held in such high regard by Muslims everywhere.

Here is I am going to share a beautiful Hadith for knowing the importance of Ramadan’s Blessings. Abdullah ibn `Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H) said: “The fast and the Qur’an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: ‘O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.’ The Qur’an will say: ‘I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.’ And their intercession will be accepted.” Now we can clearly understand the significance of Ramadan’s Blessings in the light of Holy Quran and Hadith.
