Ibragim Todashev, 27 who was kept in custody by the federal agency and was interrogated by two Massachusetts police officers as he lost his temper during the interrogation when he was asked about the connection with the Boston Bombing which resulted in many casualties along with a number of persons dead. However, the police reports did not confirm that Ibragim Todashev was also interrogated about the incident in 2011 in which a friend of Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed. According to the statement announced by the FBI spokesmen, the incident, in which Ibragim Todashev got killed, was still under review.
The situation went out of control during the interrogation with Ibragim Todashev as the suspect failed to absorb the pressure which resulted in a confrontation between the officers and him. Ibragim Todashev was shot dead by the FBI agent as he claimed that they might have life threatening injuries.
A friend of Todashev while talking to the news reporters that his friend had nothing to do with Boston bombings or Tamerlan and Djokhar Tsarnaev except that Todashev and Tsarnaev were both martial arts fans. He also added that Ibragim Todashev was planning to visit his parents, but the agents forced him to stay in the United States and that is why he canceled his tickets.
Some of the details were revealed by WESH TV as it reported that when the investigations were started by the agents at the apartment of Ibragim Todashev, he was very much co-operative with the investigators, but later, Ibragim Todashev got violent immediately when he was asked to make a confession by signing a document in which it was clearly written that Ibragim Todashev was involved in 2011 September murder. Brendan Mess, 25 who was also said to be one of Djokhar Tsarnaev friends got killed by the police soon after the Boston incident.
Investigations are still in progress as said by the Middlesex County state attorney’s office spokesmen. According to the records found in Florida’s Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Todashev was arrested by the police as Todashev was caught fighting with two other men. But Todashev was released as there were no charges pressed against him. While giving a statement, Taramov said that he and his friend were asked to answer a few questions, but later on, only Taramov was asked to leave the apartment by the agents not Ibragim Todashev. Former assistant director of the FBI, John miller, was also present during the investigation with Todashev as the police thought that Todashev was definitely involved in Boston attacks.
