Omar Ebn Al Khattab (The End)

Omar Ebn Al Khattab kept struggling for three days after he was stabbed. Muslims did all they can do to save him, but Allah’s will is above everything. Before he died he asked his son to go to Al Sayeda Aisha (the wife of the Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him and the daughter of Abu Bakr Al Sedik) and tell her “Omar Ebn Al Khattab wants to be buried beside his friends; the Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him and Abu Bakr El Sedik”.

When Omar’s son arrived at Aisha’s house, he found her crying and he asked for her permission to let Omar be buried beside the Prophet and her father Abu Bakr, so she said “I wanted this place for myself, but I will give it to Omar Ebn Al Khattab”. Omar’s son went back to his father and told him that Aisha agreed.

When Omar died, he was buried beside the Prophet and Abu Bakr, which is a great place to be in, as it is beside the main two leaders for Muslims and the men who started the civilization of the nation. Before his death, Omar ordered to form a committee of six people from the companions (Sahaba) who will be responsible to choose the next Caliph. He ordered to form the committee of Othman Ebn Affan, Aly Ebn Abi Taleb, Talha Ebn Obidallah, Al Zubeir Ebn Alaawam, Saad Ebn Abi Wakkas and Abdulrahman Ebn Auf. The six men were great Muslims and they assisted the Prophet and the two Caliphs, Abu Bakr El Sedik and Omar Ebn Al Khattab to establish a strong Muslim world.

Omar’s burial was the end to an Islamic era that lasted for ten years, six months and four days. In this era Omar Ebn Al Khattab managed to impose justice and mercy in the Muslim world. The Muslim lands expanded and all Muslims were proud of being ruled by Al Farouk Omar and proud of serving the nation under his lead. He delivered the rights of all the poor and the weak, while he never took anything for himself or his family.

The West claimed that Omar Ebn Al Khattab did not exist and it is an imaginary character created by Muslims, but this is completely not true. Westerners who spread such rumors did not find a man in their history that even look like Omar in his strength and justice, and they always worked to make the Islamic history behind the history of the West so that they can set their own role models for Muslims and non Muslims.

I want to send a massage to the West; do you have a governor or a ruler who is fair like Omar Ebn Al Khattab? Do you have a man who served the people without waiting for any return? Do you have a man who is a true leader? All the answers will be “No” I think. I wish both Muslims and the West can learn from Omar’s life story and try to imitate him, and of course this will result in a better world that all of us can live in with no fear and with no rights taken by force from the people.

The End
