on Sunday, December 23, 2012

The officials in New Jersey are excellent at providing equal rights to the Muslim community inhabitant in that region. The authorities have time and again, listened to the mounting demands and the problems of the Muslims and also ensured that their demands are fulfilled. The image portrayed by the media for quite a time now has shown the world the discriminatory attitude of the United States officials against Muslims. But a recent visit of New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa to Newark Mosque has given the public quite a surprise. The visit to the Newark Mosque by New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa was kept secret by the police department. The major motive behind Chiesa’s visit to the Mosque on Friday was to ensure that the Muslim community keeps the officials and authorities of New Jersey in their good books.

New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa assured, during the Friday prayers, that worshippers should not feel deprived of their basic rights being the citizens of New Jersey. Jeffrey Chiesa also further explained to the worshipers that officials in any regard do not consider Muslims lesser than any other community, but in fact, he makes sure that Muslims are like all others and their demands and needs are remarkably fulfilled.

On Friday, Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa attended the prayer meet with Muslims in Masjid Ibrahim, a modest, single-story mosque set up inside a ramshackle former commercial space in Newark. As far as the Mosque is concerned, it was among several in the report by the NYPD, which conducted surveillance of Muslims in New Jersey and elsewhere.

“It is not tolerable here in New Jersey for us to have people treated differently in this state — period,” Chiesa said.

Chiesa’s visit to Ibrahim Mosque was to heal the rough patch patches between Muslims and the community of New Jersey. For some time, the mosque was kept under observation by the authorities to maintain the security of the region. There have been many accusations held on Muslims for the terrorist activities across the world to ensure the safety and safeguard of the people in New Jersey. The Attorney General himself went to ensure that there is peace between the different communities. The Associated Press uncovered the NYPD’s spying, and it had hurt the Muslim sentiments as they were considered terrorists. But, the NYPD, on the other hand, adds that it was its sole duty to ensure the security of different cities and communities.

Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa has said, in an interview, that New York police meets regularly with New Jersey law enforcement to shed light on the prevailing issues such as counterterrorism intelligence and operations. The laws are reformed to keep an account of the terrorist activities in the United States. Authorities are also covering up all issues in order to make peace and agreements with Muslim communities. The major efforts are being done for the safety and security of the region in New Jersey.
