Syrian Genocide: Stop Assad

on Tuesday, November 27, 2012

Syria is the Arab country where monarchy is the governmental system as with many other Arab countries. The majority of monarchs are adherent of dictatorship and their people are deprived of many basic rights. Moreover, the Syria Muslims massacre has aggravated the situation as the people of Libya started to move against the king for the democratization of the country. But the government was dogged to grasp the power. They blocked freedom of speech and opinions as well as social sites in Syria as one social site had been a great media of anti government propaganda. They arrested many bloggers as they asked for the political reforms, they demanded the right of the political participation, they asked the government for the respect for the human rights, and they demanded the systematic discrimination.

Syria is a Muslim country. So why are all of these killings happening? This can be a very crucial question. The people of Syria are a majority Sunni.  This is the root cause of the conflict of Syria. Actually not only in Syrian, rather all Arab countries have a problem with this. They do not get along with each other. They are different in some ways, but why they quarrel over that? Some of them have a good relation with Christian countries.  But Iran or the Shia or the Sunni or Saudi Arabia; all of them are Muslims.

In 1971, the Alawis took  power and since then, the freedom of the mass of people has been dead. Assad  ascended the kingdom after his father Hafeez deceased. The change was expected. But Assad again appeared as a blood sucker like his father was. But now the group of Muslims has been so aggravated that one Muslim killed another Muslim only over some different views. Syrian problems could be solved if the Muslims of that area remember the teachings of brotherhood. If an Arab can make fraternity with Christian, what’s wrong with the Sunnis or the Shia’s? The attitude and thought should be changed and promoted. The brave people should keep unity against the dictator to stop Syria Muslims killing at any cost.

The country saw for the first time a grand revolt.  Many people have been in a movement against the government, though the situation was not as aggravated as Libya experienced  and the death toll was not as high as the Egyptian movement. But they were killed and tortured which were enough for a government to lose its legitimacy. Assad, however, is not quite as intelligent as the Egyptian Mubarak, or Libyan Gaddafi. He proceeded with his Muslim killing mission, and the people are not going to let him forget what he has done.
