Mentality of Muslims against Jews

It has been very evident that different people from different religions, race and regions hold dearly their practices and they would not like to lose even a single value. It is good to appreciate what you are. However, there are great deals of people who have not seen any need to affiliate themselves with their race, region or religious beliefs. It does not matter where you come from or whether you are white, dark or red in complexion. One thing that people should understand is that they should live in harmony and in mutual existence with others.

Two of the religious groups that have continued to hold their practices strongly include the Muslims and the Jews. There were times when the Muslims related well with the Jews. However, it has been so challenging to exist together mutually because the Muslims have a certain notion about the Jews and the same case applies to the Jews. The Muslims believe they share the same origin and background.

One thing that has made it very difficult for peaceful existence is that one religion feels as if it is superior to the other. That is the same mentality the Muslims have. The Muslims feel that they are the ones who deserve to have the highest honor because they are promised by Allah that those who serve God would be his people and that it is a privilege and great honor for Muslims to be chosen as God’s people. So, when the Muslims try to compare themselves with the Jews, they feel they are far much better.

One of the major obstacles that has all along paralyzed the efforts for bringing the Jews and the Muslims together is that both the Muslims and the Jews perceive each other as a threat. The Jews are seen to be terrorists and that they only attack the Muslims. On the other hand, the Muslims would not welcome the idea of them sharing anything since they are seen as terrorists.

The Muslims believe that they are clean and therefore they cannot make any efforts of interacting with other religious groups. The Muslims consider themselves holy. Since Jews do not have the same beliefs as the Muslims, the Muslims regard the Jews as people who are defiled. They therefore cannot relate in any other way. This has become very difficult for ensuring that the two religious groups have anything in common.

The Muslims also have a feeling that the Jews are given too much when the global interest is considered. This sense of favors has also been another reason why the Muslims have poor mentality about the Jews. One thing that matters is the idea that people should learn to facilitate peace and mutual existence. The Muslims and Jews should take each other as brothers and sisters and try to help fix things in a way that they will exist well together in the society.
