Tunisia after elections- An era of violence:

Tunisia is the city where people cherish and live happily. The people of Tunisia enjoy their life with freedom. Every country has its own beauty. Allah has made the whole world very beautifully. This natural beauty also exists in Tunisia. The country is very vast and is maintained. It is a developing country.

Every country needs a president so that he could look after the country. To choose the correct president of the country, elections are organized in which people give votes to the people that are nominated for the positions of president and vice president.

The elections for the constitutional assembly were held in Tunisia on October 23, 2011, following the Tunisia revolution, the results of Tunisia elections were announced on March 3, 2011. It was announced that the new assembly will have 217 members. It was the first free election which was held in Tunisia, since the country has been independent since 1956, as well as the first election in the Arab world.

The people of Tunisia were very excited and were very tense regarding what will be the next steps of Tunisia after elections. Many rumors and controversies were made about the elections. These elections were not peaceful. One of the Islamic parties won most of the seats which was the Ennahda party. Many of the people believe that Ennahda party will take the position of prime minister while Moncef Marzouki will become the interim president.

In Tunisia after elections, the people were very much frightened, since they have heard rumors that the Islamic party Ennahda will take the position of president. Preliminary results were announced which show that the Ennahda party will be on the commanding post. The people of Tunisia didn’t want the Islamic party to be on the commanding post so they protested against the party and didn’t supported the Islamic party. After a long time period of time, when the results were declared, the Islamic party Ennahda was on the top of the votes and then the party became the president of Tunisia.

When the Islamic party Ennahda was finally declared as the president, the reaction of the people during the elections was very bad. The people who wanted to become happy after the elections became violent and the country lost its peace.  Many of the shops were broken and the people of Tunisia became out of control. This became a very serious matter and many of the lives were lost due to this protest. Tunisia faced great difficulties and hard challenges, this protest became an open matter and was covered by newspapers, TV and media. In every news channel, this news was spread.
