History of Islam-----Era of Ottoman Empire

The Ottoman Empire referred to the Turkish Empire (Osmaniyye Empire). This era was most important in the history of Islamic States. Modern Turkey of 21th century is also composed of the great old Ottoman Empire. This era was successful in many aspects. Turkish Empire lasted for about 623 years, from 27 July 1299 to 1 November 1922. It spanned three continents covering Europe and western Asia Regions. This State began as small states emerged in Asia during the breakdown of the Seljuk Turks Empire.  There are Different rise and fall periods overcame during the great dynasty Empire in Turkey and around Turkey States.

Foundation of Great Empire:

The Empire founded by Osman. Osman was a great warrior and leader of the small territory inside Seljuk Turkey. Around 1290 he declared his independence from the Seljuk state Sultan. The ottoman is derived from Uthman, which is the Arabic form of Osman.  From Anatolia Osman and his son began expanding their lands into the northwest of Byzantine territory and east of Anatolia around 1320.

Rise of the Ottoman Empire:

According to Islamic scholar Paul Wittek, the rise of the Ottoman State was due to attraction to warriors, Jihad of Muslims who joined this Empire and played a vital role in the rise and expansion of this Leadership. The legal system was introduced in the state. In 1323, Osman died, after this his son Orhan captures the city of Bursa and made the new capital of the state. This rule began to extend over eastern parts of the Mediterranean. When Serbian power ended then more states added to the Empire.

When Murad 1 and 2 became the successor then many rise of the states occurs. This era was the greatest victory era. In 1444 at Varna many states formed. Sultan Mehmood II conquered Constantinople in 1453; He made it the third capital of the state. Around that time, some defeats also were faced. However, when regain of warriors include then victories seasons started. The tide of Mehmood continues until 16 centuries. After this Suleiman came, who was a great leader of his time? He Conquered lot of areas. His leadership continued from 1520- 1566. He added many states like Budapest, Rhodes, Tabriz, Bagdad, Riva, Aden, Vienna etc. This time was the peak time of the Turkish Empire.  He was very generous to his public. He provided many facilities for everyone in his state.

 The fall of Ottoman Empire:

During the 17th Century remained stable but from the last years of the century decline period of Empire Started.  This era was about 1680-1800. Around that, duration many times new governments reformed but remained faced a decline period. In 1792 many areas of Russia was lost.  The decline period was due to misunderstandings, government corruption, and other features. In 1850s, again new states reformed and new leaders came.

New Era:

After the war from 1919 to 1923, Mustafa Kamal (Turkish warrior) led the inspiring nation. Ottoman Empire Ended and the new Turkish state formed. Now Turkey is the richest country in all the resources, which has strong economy also.
