CIA training

Becoming or serving in the CIA is not as easy as people think. You have to undergo through a series of scrutiny and testing of which you must prove eligibility and qualify at each stage so that you can go to the next level. Those who have completed their graduate studies can send their application forms but at the same time there are so many factors that will have to be put into consideration for you to be picked as a person who qualifies to serve for the Central Investigative Agency.

Then, what are the requirements for one to serve in the CIA? Quite a lot is required of you starting with a clear criminal record. If there was at any one time in your lifetime when you brushed shoulders with the law, you should not even think of sending your application letter. A certificate should be obtained to indicate that you are of good conduct. Having involved in criminal cases or taking drugs is a good way for you to be locked out of joining the CIA.

There are a series of training that are undertaken by those who have been successful applicants for the CIA post. You must at least be a holder of a bachelor’s degree for you to qualify. The CIA has its own universities where you will be put under special program and receive special training.  There are wide varieties of fields of which you are required to specialize in. That includes law, political science, history, mathematics just to mention a few. You will be required to be very competent in your work.

CIA training includes psychological training. In society, as a CIA agent you will be dealing with people who are intelligent, with high integrity, ambitious, cunning and it will be upon you to know how to handle them. Also, it will be highly significant, if you have the ability to read minds and be in a position to tell what the person is thinking or planning.

A lot of physical exercise training is taken by the CIA members. You are required to have stamina, be physically strong and be able to survive in harsh environmental conditions. Training and exercise will tone your muscles, shape your body properly and enhance your stability and body strength. It is important for you to overpower enemies who, most of the times, are stronger. Additionally, a CIA agent will undergo a lot of polygraph training. Simply, you will be taught how to deal with tough cases in life.

You will be required to master at least two languages. You will be required to have a better track record in your daily duties. High levels of honest and trustworthy will be expected from you. Since you will be dealing with various people in the society, you will be required to establish good personal relationships as well as to have a good rapport.
