Why Even Video Games Target Muslims, You Know You Live In An Age Of Hate.

on Tuesday, May 7, 2013

A video game is just not a computer game that you play on your television or any other device with your friends, cousins or siblings, but it is a game that a particular person enjoys seeing and playing because of its beautiful graphics. We play these kinds of games because we consider the character of these games seriously and think about them every time because we are too much attracted to the game. Actually, the main reason why we love these games is that we basically love the character and graphics of the game.

People say it is our obsession towards the game, and they also say that our present generation can change this obsession easily into an addiction, but until and unless we are not addicted to it, there is no harm in it. Nowadays, the makers of the games are taking benefit of the addiction of the public. People call it whatever, propaganda or universal hatred but these games have started showing Muslims as terrorists in their games which is just not noticed by the government, and they are blaming for every crisis which occur in their own countries.

Games are created for the enjoyment of children and the teenagers, so it is the duty of the creator that they should show things which are fiction and attract the gamers instead of giving the wrong impression on the audience and misguide them. Many of the audience have certainly noticed that since a great couple of years Pakistan is considered as a negative character in the video games. This gives the wrong impression on the people. Because of this, people will start thinking that Pakistan is a rival country, thus this may cause many problems for our state.

For example, a child of about 5 to 6 years old is playing a game related to fighting and in that game a terrorist is hiding in Pakistan then the child will believe that Pakistan is a terrorist country. A child of 5 to 6 years does not know what is right or wrong, but after seeing that video game, this believe will be glued in his heart that Pakistan is not a safe country, which is not correct for our coming generations. I am totally against this kind of behavior with our dear country. There is not only one game which is doing this, but there are many other games with similar sort of ideas.

I know that not all the people who play the game have the same thinking. But still those few people, who play the game with the same thinking as I do, think it is dangerous for Pakistan because ‘A drop of water makes a mighty ocean’. Games are not the only thing which is showing Pakistan as a terrorist country, but there are many other movies and TV shows. It gives the wrong image to the people. So this is a reason why video games are becoming a problem for our country.
