The Iron Lady Died due to Stroke

Margaret Thatcher was one of those politicians that were very popular around the world. She represented the conservative party of England which is a leading political party. Politicians from all around the world are calling it a huge loss for the politics of England as the world has lost a true political and dedicated worker. According to an announcement, the Queen will also be attending the ceremonial funeral of the iron lady. Sources have said that the date has been finalized as far as the funeral is concerned between the government officials and the family of thatcher. It is expected that big names will be attending the funeral of Margaret Thatcher from all parts of the world.

The Royal family has never been into any funerals of the former prime ministers but it is said that the queen would be attending the funeral, as Margaret Thatcher was the only Prime Minister that served more than 10 years as the leader of the United Kingdom. As a leader of the conservative party, there were lots of policies implemented by Margaret. During her tenure, she brought strong economic stability in the country and that is the reason she got re-elected in year 1987.After she resigned as the conservative party leader and the Prime Minister, she never seemed indulged into the British politics. She found dead on her bed in the Ritz hotel on 8th April 2013, sources said, and the cause of death is said to be a stroke. Thatcher was 87 years old.

According to the close friends and family members of Thatcher, she does not want to have any kind of special treatment from the state after her death. But the state has suspended all the parliamentary affairs for one day so as to have the funeral of their former Prime Minister. In Britain, there are levels of funerals that have been organized by the state, and according to Downing Street, the funeral of the iron lady will be one step below a state funeral. Thatcher state funeral will be the same as the funeral of Diana and the other state leaders, according to the government spokesman.

The Guard of honor will also be organized for the lady that gave the concept of Thatcherism to the politicians around the world. The funeral expenses will be shared between the Thatchers and the state. On Tuesday, this week, the funeral was taken to the Palace of West minister where the short services were performed and then there was an overnight rest. On Wednesday, the body is to be taken to the church of St Clement Danes. The leaders of the country including the Prime Minister and the deputy Prime Ministers are also expected to join the funeral.
