Can we ever see Independent Iraq and Afghanistan?

on Sunday, April 7, 2013

The US government has been working hard in order to gain control over Afghanistan. It was the war against Taliban that brought the US troops to Afghanistan and brought Afghanistan and the US at war with each other. The US troops stayed there carrying out operations and gaining whatever their aim was. It was soon that the US government also announced it invasion of Iraq. However, the US army claimed that it entered Iraq to improve the conditions and to end up all the differences within them, but after years of wars and suicide bombing and killing of many innocent lives, it was in the year 2011 that the US government finally decided to remove its troops from Iraq. The US army has claimed to enter Iraq and Afghanistan for some reasons, one of them was to improve their conditions and end up terrorism in the world and bring peace, but how can this killing of innocent lives bring peace.

After years of brutal killing and cold wars and fights between the locals and the US troops, the US government realized that it was facing a lot of loss of army. Many finances were spent on the military aid and not much was being received. This finally led to the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. The withdrawal started in 2009 and finally by 2011, it was known that the US troops were removed from Iraq, and the US government is expected to remove the troops completely from Afghanistan by the year 2014.

Now, the US government has removed its troops, but the main question is that will Iraq, and Afghanistan be able to get independent again? For years, the two countries had been under the US control. Seeing war, weapons, and bombs all the time. Can they become independent now? Are they normal as they were?

This is the main problem. Even though, the troops have been removed, but they have left the two counties in a bad state. They have left the countries in a bad condition. Instead of improving, they are in a worse state. There are many internal problems, which make it seem difficult for the two countries to stay independent. Though the US has announced the withdrawal of troops officially and the two countries are claimed independent officially, but they are not in reality. They cannot stay like independent states. Their power, their confidence, their unity all are lost now. They have seen war. Their children have seen war, and thus, their thinking has been affected.

The debate is going on whether the two countries Iraq and Afghanistan will be able to get back to their original state and be independent, or they would stay affected till the end. There are people hoping for the best of Iraq and Afghanistan, wanting them to return to their originality and independence while others, after looking at the state, say that they cannot get independent again.
