on Friday, March 22, 2013

An ex-Navy SEAL, Chris Kyle, who is also the author of the best-selling book American Sniper in which he cited his services in Iraq, was killed by being shot at a gun range in Texas. It was reported that another man, Chad Littlefield was also killed, who was a friend of Chris.

Local TV Stations have claimed that the ex-Navy SEAL was shot at a point-blank range while he was helping out another soldier who was said to be recovering from post traumatic stress syndrome at a range that is located near Glen Rose.

According to news reports, the Lancaster, Texas police has arrested a suspect after a brief chase, who is 25-year-old Eddie Ray Routh. It was basically Kyle’s exploits in Iraq that has gained him ample fame. He was deployed there around four times, and he had managed to set the record for 150 sniper kills. Chris Kyle had also acquired a number of different commendations, and he was actually given the nickname, ‘The Devil of Ramadi’ by insurgent forces.

According to reports, Eddie Ray Routh, the suspect is an unemployed Marine veteran who had made use of a semiautomatic handgun to kill Kyle and shot him multiple times. He is already in custody, and it is expected that he will face two major murder charges.

Back in year 2006, Routh had enlisted in the Marine, and was deployed to Iraq in year 2007, and to Haiti in year 2010 for hurricane relied. He is currently serving the Marine Reserve.

The suspect, Eddie Ray Routh used a semiautomatic handgun to shoot Kyle and Littlefield multiple times at a secluded gun range at the Rough Creek Lodge southwest of Fort Worth, investigators said at a news conference.

Routh had enlisted in the Marines in 2006. He was deployed to Iraq in 2007 then to Haiti in 2010 for hurricane relief. He remained in the Marine Reserve. On the other hand, Chris Kyle had continually served the country with utmost honor. Upon return, he was dedicated to helping his brothers deal with the post-traumatic stress that they were facing. He was a very proactive person and wished to help everyone. He had established the Fitco Cares Foundation back in 2011 so as to deliver exercise equipment and counseling services to veterans. According to him, exercising and getting to communicate with fellow veterans could make it easier for soldiers to put up with and mingle in civilian life.

Kyle basically lived with his wife and two children just outside of Dallas and found it rather difficult to settle back in life after getting retired from the Navy SEAL. It was the worst part of the insurgency when he got deployed in Iraq, where he regularly faced getting bombed out of apartment buildings with just his 300 Winchester Magnum. He served as an overwatch and focused on making it impossible for the enemies to ambush the Marine units.

Indiana man says he set fire at Ohio mosque to get payback for US soldiers killed overseas

on Thursday, December 20, 2012

A former Marine from Indiana admitted Wednesday that he broke into a mosque in Ohio and set fire to a prayer rug because he wanted revenge for the killings of American troops overseas.

Randy Linn pleaded guilty to hate crime charges, saying he'd become enraged after seeing images of wounded soldiers in the news. "Every day you turn on the TV, you see Muslims trying to kill Americans," said Linn, a truck driver from St. Joe. When asked by a federal judge whether he thought all Muslims are terrorists, he answered: "I'd say most of them are."

A deal between prosecutors and Linn, 52, calls for him to be sentenced to 20 years next April. He pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging and destroying religious property and two gun-related charges.

U.S. District Judge Jack Zouhary told Linn that his acts were an attack on all places of religion and that the mosque was a symbol of peace. "You are no better than the terrorists or extremists you sought to punish," Zouhary said.

Prosecutors said Linn drove about two hours from his home to suburban Toledo on Sept. 30 and broke into the mosque where he poured gasoline on the rug and lit it on fire. Linn had several firearms in his car and carried a gun into the mosque, which was empty at the time.

U.S. Attorney Steven Dettelbach said it was fortunate no one was there. "This is a man who had intolerance in his heart and acted with hate," he said. "We can count ourselves lucky."

Nine Muslim women killed by U.S. forces in Afghanistan

on Monday, September 17, 2012

Afghanistan has been a hub of terrorism over many decades, extremist mindsets have been trouble shooting the Islamic image around the globe.

Four U.S. troops have been killed this Sunday at a checkpoint in southern Afghanistan member of the Afghan security forces opened fire on them, military officials said. “The attack brought to 51 the number of international troops shot dead by their Afghan partners this year.” this has sadly made news around the world recently.

NATO killed around 9 women who were working and gathering firewood from the mountains, NATO killed mercilessly these innocent women. Recent attack on the U.S. troops has been the reaction to the killing of 9 innocent women who were gathering firewood from the mountains. If U.S. troops begin to kill innocent Muslims then the reaction would also kill U.S. troops by Afghanis and this can further bitter the relations between the two.

NATO partners are training the Afghan forces so that they can take up the charge of the national security and the American forces and its coalition partners are planning to leave the Afghan borders before 2014.

U.S. troops being killed by Afghan forces have created news but this information was not released immediately by the American network. According to the news sources in Afghanistan “In Wardak province, a restive area south of Kabul, some commanders appeared to misinterpret the guidance and postponed several major operations for three days. Because Afghan army commanders in Wardak were reluctant to patrol without support from U.S. troops, they also chose to cancel the planned missions.

The pause in Wardak had initially been planned to last only two days, but U.S. commanders extended it in the immediate aftermath of a Friday night attack by the Taliban on Camp Bastion — a large British base in Helmand province — so that U.S. troops could focus on internal base security in case similar insider attacks were launched.

The Taliban said the attack on Camp Bastion, which is hundreds of miles from Wardak, was initiated to avenge the video and to target Britain’s Prince Harry, a helicopter gunner on the base. Two U.S. Marines died in the attack and upwards of $200 million in aircraft and base structures were destroyed.”

Muslims in Afghanistan are being killed mercilessly; recent killing of the 9 innocent women has dreadfully hurt the Muslims around the world. “The weekend’s events touched the core of the U.S.-led war’s problems. The escalating insider attacks and continuing civilian casualties both deepen mistrust and alienate NATO forces from the people they are supposed to be protecting, undermining an already fragile partnership.”

NATO forces are strong in their plans to leave Afghanistan early or by 2014, enough of the blood has been shed in Afghanistan that killed Muslims, now the region is being handed over to its own residents again so that they can lead their lives according to their will and can project equality and justice. America has trained them enough to take up the charge of the nation security of the country and fight the further terrorism more effectively.
