Living in the United States is a dream of many. Blacks, Asians, and Arabs all strive to get a share of what the United States has to offer. Until the dark September 9 incident, it was all merry and roses for Muslims living in the United States but what have changed now?

Sadly, Muslims no longer find life in the United States a ride in the park. Islam critics as well as fanatics keen on fostering hatred and negative portray. These people want Americans and the larger word to believe that every Islam is a terrorist. The extremists who claimed responsibilities for the September 9 incidents and other incidents targeting American interest across the globe have not done better either, they too have used Islam as a platform for launching their terrorist acts.

It is however sad that the normal Islam who goes about his day life like any other person in American has had to bear the brunt. There is a growing disdain for the Islam among Americans. Kids have been taught to associate the Muslims with terrorism, intellectuals have portrayed Islam negatively, and sadly, Muslims leaving in America have been forced to wear the brand of terrorism by virtue of their religion.

A question one asks, is why America should, a highly educated society condemn the entire Muslim for crime of a few. Many Muslims are peace loving citizens and rarely thin of harming any American citizens. Despite the rate Muslims have grown among the American citizens, many would harm them and after all, they are humans.

Nonetheless, the Muslim community must as well exhibit patience, tolerance and respect for others. Most of the Americans go about their lives oblivious of the policies their government takes against the Arab nations. Sadly, the Islam world has developed a kind of hatred to Americans. The truth is, both worlds need each other. Americans are as important to Muslims as Muslims are important to Americans.

So, who would sober up and tell Americans to treat their Muslim brothers with love and respect and who would tell the Muslims to love their American brothers? This person would be a hero. A key question often surrounding the bad blood between United States and the Muslims is the Israeli question, so, why can’t the Israelis and the Muslim live in peace. Of course, there is nowhere the Jews can go and so, Muslims should simply learn to live with them. Other than these artificial differences we create between us, we are all humans and must learn to live with each other.

Egyptian society is currently in a transition phase. There is a series of disputes over many issues within the country as the opposition is trying to press the Government. There are issues concerning the balance of power, and other issues include economy, inflation, unemployment and the newly introduced laws like blasphemy law. On January 25, 2011, Egyptians went on the roads asking for a change in their dictatorial, inactive and in an increasingly non-transparent government. Eighteen days later of disputes, a ruthless crackdown on demonstrators and a shutdown of the Internet, President Mubarak ventures down.

Mubarak had based administration on savagery, discretionary confinement of activists, and restriction. He and his supporters organized audaciously fixed parliamentary decisions in November 2010 and have mercilessly crushed its people. Mubarak and his administration depended on U.S. help to deny the Egyptian individuals essential rights and opportunities. This can’t keep throughout the move to elections. The U.S. authority should stand with the Egyptian individuals, and not simply the tyrant.

As the earthquake was felt by the Pakistani nation two days ago that was told to be a kind of earthquake that could be quite devastating. Team leader Nisar added that it would be very important to know the orientation of the place along with the number of people and their financial position. That will definitely help in the rehabilitation process for us to rebuild. Dr Veeram a member of BRDS also said that it is important that all stakeholders should have the responsibilities so that the work could be effectively done with the least amount of the time consumed. He also added that services could take 36 hours to reach the victims after the disasters hits.

It is obvious that the disaster management team would take some time to reach the place where a disaster hits, but this work could be effectively done if the number of stakeholders plays their part so as to share the responsibilities. The ultimate beneficiary would be the people who have suffered. They should be provided with the tents, food and medicines.

He also added the rehabilitation also means that the particular area should be de-watered immediately so that it would be easier for the rehabilitation team and the rehabilitation process to have immediate effects. The rehabilitation process is the kind of process in which you don’t only need to have resource, it also requires having some time to give the results. People should be given awareness about the situations that can be disastrous. The infrastructure has to be rebuilt in order to have the routine back to the normal life.

It seems that history is going to repeat itself. It was November 1986 when the US Representative, Mr. Dan Lungren congratulated the President Ronald Reagan after he approved a bipartisan immigration bill. It was the first bill in the history of US to legalize the largest number of illegal immigrants or unauthorized workers. But what happened after the approval? Did it become possible for the officials to restrict the entry of illegal workers in US? No, the subsequent three decades proved to be failure for the implementation of immigration laws. It allowed many illegal immigrants to soar in Massachusetts. A Republican “Lungren” said, “There was no enforcement and I mean literally, no enforcement”.

So, passing a new immigration bill will not bring any pivotal and concluding solution but strong measures for implementation will prove to be the key for success. Congress is again planning for a new roller coaster immigration discussion. A “gang of eight” is busy in drafting new set of rules for the solution of immigration problem. There are four Republicans and four Democrats with a plan to introduce their bill on coming Tuesday. There is huge struggle and hard work behind this draft and the group of eight has negotiated for months to finalize this bipartisan immigration bill. President Barack Obama is hoping for the advancement of one of his top priorities of 2013 in Congress.

The major milestones for this bill emphasize on the opening of official doors to eleven million people who are living illegitimately in the United States of America. It is quite obvious and expected that the bill will get acceptance from Congress but the most difficult part will start after approval. An Iowa Republican, Senator Charles Grassley said that he has warned his colleagues that enforcement must come first. He was the one who voted for the act of 1986 to legalize the illegal immigrants and put a lock on the doors for illegal workers. However, it could not become possible and the illegal immigrants who accounted for 5000 in 1990 increased to 75000 in 2010 as reported by Pew Hispanic Center. Moreover, Grassley said, “I want immigration reform, but the point is that the advocates for immigration reform are the ones that want to make everything real easy; Well, it ain’t gonna be easy.”

But on the other side, supporters of this forth coming immigration law argument that they only have one way to make it possible and that is to offer legal citizenship to illegal workers residing in the country. They are supporting to legalize eleven million immigrants that are four times bigger than the illegal immigrants legalized through 1986 law. Rocio Saenz (SEIU Local 615 President) said, “We understand this is going to be difficult, but this is the time to find a solution, now, once and for all, not piecemeal.”

At last, it will not be wrong to say that Democrats are going to enjoy win-win situation whether Republicans choose to pass these new laws or put all this down. According to Morrison, “The Republicans need this”. According to him, if Republicans fail to pass this law then Democrats will get a chance to blame them in the coming elections of 2014 and 2016.

The Middle East is facing a political and brutal unrest. Till now, thousands of Muslims have been killed in the ongoing civil war. From Egypt to Libya, there has been political instability. The same is the situation in Lebanon where a civil war has started.  There are several reasons for the civil war in this country. Now, we will look at why people are protesting, and why this protest leads to civil war.

Lebanon has some political issues with the Syrian government, and the people are protesting against the assassination of Lebanon’s spy Chief. The funeral was so emotional that it created a wave of anger against the Syrians. The Lebanon people have asked their PM to step down, and some political leaders have urged the nation not to support the PM, who is in support of Syria. A famous television anchor asked the nation to protest against the PM; as a result of which, a mob shouted protests outside his residence.

Lebanon Critical situation

The armed forces in the country have asked for a peaceful protest from the political parties. They have placed a request to be cautious in the speeches, and not to flame the emotions of the people. Many people have been killed, till date, in Lebanon, and there is a growing fear that the civil war in Syria will soon spread to the small country of Lebanon, as well.

The main issue in the unrest of the country is entirely political and religious. Some groups that are fighting against the ruling party in the country are in favor of Sunni rebels fighting in Syria against Basharat-ul-Asad. Mostly, Sunni groups are favoring the Sunni rebels, but the Shiites are favoring the Asad government in Syria.

The Spy General who was killed in the car bomb was a Sunni. He was a great solider for the country, and he was challenging the Syrian government and the Hezbollah (the Lebanon Shiites group). The assassination of this leader was the main issue of political unrest in the country and the blame game started. According to the Sunni people, both the Hezbollah and the Syrian government are involved in this incident. This incident causes a great stress and storm in the country.

The Lebanon ruling party and the US state minister have offered the joint investigation of the assassination of the intelligence official. The US officials have asked the ruling party and the PM to take steps to make the state stable and sovereign.

Even now, clashes between the Sunni and Shiites continue, and a lot of people from both groups have been killed. The midnight clashes are on the rise and people living in such areas are now shifting to more secure areas.

Liban situation critique

Le Moyen-Orient fait face à une agitation politique et brutale. À ce jour, des milliers de Musulmans ont été tués dans la guerre civile en cours. De l’Égypte à la Libye, l’instabilité politique fait rage. De même, la situation au Liban où une guerre civile a commencé montre qu’il y a plusieurs raisons à la guerre civile dans ce pays. Maintenant, voyons pourquoi les gens manifestent et pourquoi cette manifestation mène à la guerre civile.
Le Liban a quelques altercations politiques avec le gouvernement Syrien, les gens manifestent contre l’assassinat du responsable de renseignements du Liban. Les obsèques étaient si émouvantes qu’ils ont créé une vague de colère contre les Syriens. Le peuple du Liban a demandé à leur Premier Ministre de démissionner et quelques leaders politiques ont recommandé vivement la nation de ne plus soutenir le Premier Ministre, qui se range du côté de la Syrie. Un célèbre animateur de télévision a demandé à la nation de manifester contre le Premier Ministre ; en conséquence de quoi, une foule a crié des protestations à l’extérieur de sa résidence.

La situation critique au Liban

Les forces armées dans le pays ont demandé une manifestation pacifique des partis politiques. Ils ont soumis un appel à la prudence dans les discours et de ne pas enflammer les émotions du peuple. Beaucoup de personnes ont été tuées, jusqu’à ce jour, au Liban et il y a une crainte croissante que la guerre civile en Syrie s’étendra bientôt au petit pays qu’est le Liban.
Le problème principal dans l’agitation du pays est entièrement politique et religieuse. Quelques groupes qui se battent contre le parti dirigeant dans le pays sont en faveur des rebelles Sunnites qui se battent en Syrie contre Basharat-ul-Asad. De plus, les groupes de Sunnite sont du côté des rebelles Sunnites, mais les Chiites sont du côté du gouvernement Asad en Syrie.

Le Général espion qui a été tué dans la voiture piégée était un Sunnite. Il était un grand combattant pour le pays et il défiait le gouvernement Syrien et le Hezbollah (le groupe de Chiites du Liban). L’assassinat de ce leader était la raison principale de l’agitation politique dans le pays et le jeu de blâme a commencé. Selon les Sunnites, le Hezbollah et le gouvernement syrien sont tous deux impliqués dans cet incident. Cet incident cause un grand chaos qui arrive comme un ouragan sur le pays.

Le parti dirigeant du Liban et les États-Unis déclarent que le ministre a demandé une enquête commune sur l’assassinat du responsable des renseignements. Les officiels des États-Unis ont demandé au parti dirigeant et le Premier Ministre de prendre des mesures pour que l’État soit stable et souverain.

Même en ce moment, des affrontements entre les Sunnites et les Chiites continuent, et de nombreuses personnes des deux groupes ont été tuées. Les affrontements nocturnes se multiplient et les personnes qui vivent dans ces zones se déplacent actuellement vers des endroits sécuritaires.

The ongoing problem of the killing of Muslims in Assam, India have been described as a, “planned ethnic cleansing of Muslims.” The minority community of Muslims in Assam is being cruelly killed. Muslim leaders have been greatly moved by the present conditions in Assam and are demanding the intervention of the Central Government. According to these Muslim leaders, Tarun Gogoi’s state Government has failed in protecting their innocent citizens in Assam. These Muslim leaders have condemned the Bengali speaking citizens and Bangladeshi settlers.

The police of Northeastern parts of the Assam state in India are arresting some local politicians as they are involved in some violence cases that have taken place recently in the state. BBC reports have announced that Pradeep Bharma, legislator of the state assembly, has been arrested recently in his own home. He is also the leader of the regional Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF). Almost 87 innocent people have been killed due to the ongoing fight among aboriginal Muslim settlers and the Bodo tribes in the state of Assam.

The members of the proscribed National self governing front of the Bodoland have killed a number of Muslims. At the same time, Muslims are going through violent demises similar to these in neighbouring Myanmar. Many Muslims of Bengali origin were killed in the uprisings of four western Assam districts. The Indian government has now called on the army and issued orders to control the violence now being faced.

There are a number of educational and social National Group Organizations (NGOs) involved. along with their leaders who strongly condemn the violence issues in Assam. They are urging central government immediately to take strict, strong actions to control the burning of Muslim villages and the killing of members of their communities.  The leaders of the NGOs who are administrating these actions have decried those unbalanced reports made by the media houses at Kokrajhar in Dhubri. They are intentionally making efforts to show that Muslims labeled as illegal settlers are actually the victims.

According to recent reports, when Muslims were attacked, killed and driven away from their residences in 1993 and 1994 from the Bodo trial, they were settled in these places after taking permissions from the Government. After some time, they built their own villages at these places. Later, homes were burned and people were killed. Now, the same conditions and same situations are faced by the Muslims in Assam.

The world is going through the most uncertain conditions and every country is facing threats from inside as well as from outside. Human right violations are on the peak in every part of the world and in this critical situation all the world authorities have failed to bring the peace. The most troubled areas in the world now days are Syria, Palestine, Kashmir and Myanmar. Myanmar has topped in the human rights violation in the last 2 years. The state of Myanmar is a Buddhist majority state and is ruled by the military for the last 50 years. In the last 50 years the military has committed many human rights violations and the main victims were the Muslims. The Buddhist state rulers claim that these Muslims in Burma are the illegal immigrants from the adjoining countries and they have no place in the Burmese state. The rulers have made it clear to the world authorities that these immigrants are not the responsibility of the state and they should be expelled. The Burmese rulers have requested the UN missions to settle these people in the other countries in order to clear Burma form the minorities.

The reality is opposite because these people are not illegal immigrants but they are living here for many decades. The most problematic area is the Rohingya Muslims area where the life and property of the Muslims are under continuous threat.  They are compelled to stay out of their houses because the military has laid the land mines in their areas.  All the Muslims and other minority areas are deprived of the basic necessities and are not given their basic rights.  In less than two months more than 20,000 Muslims in Burma have been killed in the ethnic clashes. The world bodies have not played their due role in settling this decades old issue and even the United Nations have not come to rescue the people.  The organization of Islamic conference was held in the month of Ramadan which also failed to sort out this issue. The king of Saudi Arabia however offered the monetary help to the Muslims of Rohingya. The reaction of the world bodies has been cold on this which has further increased the hatred of Muslims over the west. This lack of trust and the gap that is developing between the west and east is dangerous and can have very negative consequences.

The feelings of hatred and being ignored are increasing among the Burma Muslims and it should come to an end.  The Muslims all over the world should be given equal treatment and justice should be free and fair.  The situation of Muslims in Burma is critical as the military is not even differentiating between the innocent women and children and the extremists. The innocent Muslims women and children are burned alive; the women are raped and kept under illegal custody. All these situations have compelled the people to settle in the forest and the faraway place where they are living miserably. There should be an end to the Burmese authority atrocities against the humanity and Muslims should be given their valid rights. Every person is born free and no one has right to challenge his or her existence and basic rights.
