Morsi , Obama and the beginning of the political relation between the two countries

on Sunday, October 7, 2012

“Egypt is not our ally but we don’t consider it as our enemy” this what president Obama said when he asked about the relation between the U.S government and Egyptian government also president Obama said that “they are new government and they will take time to find there right way to deal with other countries this may caused a hard time between the two governments”.

The days before many Egyptians went to the U.S embassy in Cairo because of a movie insulting prophet Mohamed (peace upon him), which caused anger in 20 Muslim nations like Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.  We should mention what happened in Benghazi when a group of people killed the diplomats there, but president Obama and the U.S government take care of their speech when they talk to media to keep the political relationship between them and the other Muslim countries stable, keeping in mind that president Obama now is preparing for the elections and such this things may effect him and make Americans vote for Romeeny.

“That’s depend on how the ally mean” this was what President Morsi said when they asked him about his comment.  These words make the American citizen angry and receive these words in a negative way. Americans were unhappy by Morsi‘s reaction of the riots especially when he said” we took our time and at the end we take the right decisions”.

Morsi make Washington needs to calm down and take care of her reaction because the world changed. The Islamic power is ruling now and they came by a democratic way and this is what the U.S government understand, so they decided to show respect to them after the dictators stepped down after the revolutions in the Arab world.

Tunisians forced the old regime regime of Zine al Abidine Ben Ali to step down and Egypt got rid of Mubarak and his gang, after they remained in power for three decades and now the new president came democratically elected, which was a new way to choose the president. Of course he doesn’t need anything to please the power in Washington which makes the ideas and the way of thinking changes in the U.S government. Now it’s totally different than before.

Morsi also said “the successive American administrations that were supporting the old regime in Egypt, caused the Egyptian People to hate the way of the U.S government when they deal with Mubarak especially in first days of the 25 of January revolution. The U.S administration tried to keep Mubarak in power to serve the U.S. interests in Egypt” this was point of view of the Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi in an interview with the New York times newspaper.

Such statements from both sides Egypt and America makes the relation between them unclear because they don’t give us a direct word of anything and how they really feel towards each other, but the coming days will show us what will happened between the two countries and also the relation between big America and the Arab countries after the revolutions.
